Rob Hunt

Masterplan Managing Director Rob Hunt’s lifetime in the building industry strengthens a steadfast family tradition in the eastern suburbs. He is a third-generation builder, born in Kew and raised with an inherent passion for building and construction.

Rob’s career touches on almost every aspect of the industry, from sales to site management, from practical, hands-on building to project management.

He will tell you modestly about starting “at the bottom” with Masterplan and working his way up over a couple of decades, accumulating skills and expertise along the way. Now, he proudly leads a team of building and management professionals who share his passion and commitment for quality.

Driven by the belief that people truly appreciate good things, Rob has steered Masterplan to an enviable position within the prestige home market, while leaving the door open for the challenge of speculative work and specialist projects.

Rob lives in Kew with Donna, his wife of thirty years. For relaxation, he enjoys sport fishing, gym work, running and staying healthy.

With son James nearing the completion of his carpentry apprenticeship and Alex studying architecture, the family tradition looks to be in safe hands.
